Activities

Coast towns:

• Sandy beach of Los Alcázares, Santiago de la Ribera, San Pedro del Pinatar are only 10 minutes away
• Cabo de Palos is very worth to visit. A authentic Spanish fishing village with many excellent sea food restaurants.

Golf:

• More than 10 golf courses close by, including trails designed by Jack Nicklaus, Dave Thomas and Severiano Ballesteros.

Scuba diving and snorkeling:

• Islas Hormigas area, close to Cabo de Palos, is declared as marine reserve since 1995. The exceptional beauty and preservation of the rocky sea bed makes this area one of the best areas for scuba diving in the Mediterranean. Up to a depth of 20 meters, the average water temperature is 14.5ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer. Out of the water, more than 300 days of sun a year and an average temperature of 20ºC provide the perfect conditions for diving and snorkeling.

Spa:

• Pamper yourself in one of the great spa facilities in the neighbourhood or take a self-service mud bath in the sea in Lo Pagan close to Salinas de San Pedro

Daily Market: everyday is a street market in the neighbourhood.

• The Sunday market in Cabo de Palos is undoubted the most famous one to visit.
• San Cayetano has also her own market on every Wednesday morning, in front of the church

• The Sanctuary of the Virgen de La Fuensanta, just a few kilometres from Murcia city, built on the hillside with a lovely panoramic view over the city.

• The beautiful Sanctuary of Nuestra Senora de la Esperanza built in mountain, 6 kilometres from town Calasparra
