Scuba diving and snorkeling:

Islas Hormigas area, close to Cabo de Palos, is declared as marine reserve since 1995. The exceptional beauty and preservation of the rocky sea bed makes this area one of the best areas for scuba diving in the Mediterranean. Up to a depth of 20 meters, the average water temperature is 14.5ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer. Out of the water, more than 300 days of sun a year and an average temperature of 20ºC provide the perfect conditions for diving and snorkeling.
